Ok, the new and hopefully easier to remember address of my new photoblog has been changed. It is now (drum roll please…) : www.thejavajive.com/photoblog. A new photo awaits you.

Separately, I spent Sunday night geeking out, updating the software that runs this blog. I’ve upgraded to the latest installment of K2. All didn’t go so smoothly – the footer is trashed, but hey, it’s a footer. The search tool has resorted to the original, not the spiffy AJAX style. The sidebar is ghetto, and it took me hours to get the style back inline with what was happening before the upgrade. (which I said I wanted to change)

I’ve tried out a number of different themes and styles, only to continually come back to K2 – the others simply cannot match its customization and support network. Not sure where that leaves me.

The good news? The links are back after a 5 month+ hiatus (they need to go on a separate page – I know, I know). Sorry to those of you who thought I dropped you like a bad habit. The archives have been cleaned up a bit and are a bit easier to navigate. The Flickr RSS in the sidebar is running properly. Overall, the improvements are more behind-the-scenes, but nonetheless important.
